It was a tough day. Two big ups. Hot and sunny. I'm on the top of Trey Mountain at a nice camp site. I didn't want to go the extra half mile down to the shelter to find either no free sites or sites that sloped.

Passed Vino and Marty right after I started this morning. Vino was the lady with no water. Marty's probably up at the shelter. Dregs and Melissa passed me a couple of times. They are fast. There were a few I passed including Bear. He was BIG. He had on military boots because he couldn't find any hiking boots big enough. He carried a big pack and moved slow.

At Unicoi Gap we got trail magic from a church group. I had Powerade, a hamburger and a hot dog. They were a great group and friendly!  Best lunch I've had on the trail.   Chef, Frisky and a young lady who didn't give her name passed me coming up Trey Mountain.

Supper was good and the view is great. I even got to call Susan. Seems to be raining cats and dogs in San Antonio. Have a great night!
